Self-exclusion lets you close your 1xBet account for a set period if you need a real break from gambling. This page covers how it works in detail. For a broader look at safer-gambling tools and a quick self-test, see our Responsible Gaming page.
Self-exclusion vs. simple limits
Self-exclusion is different from setting a deposit or stake limit. Limits slow you down but let you keep playing within them; self-exclusion closes the account completely for the period you choose, with no way to keep betting on it in the meantime.
How to activate it
- Go to your account settings and find the responsible-gambling or self-exclusion option.
- Choose a period - options typically range from one month up to several years.
- Confirm the request. Some requests need to be verified before the account is actually blocked, so closure may not be instant.
- Once confirmed, the account is locked for the entire period you chose.
What happens during self-exclusion
- You cannot log in, place bets, or use any part of the account until the period ends.
- Any funds already in the account remain there and can normally still be withdrawn on request.
- Marketing emails and promotional contact linked to the account should stop.
- You should not try to open a new account in the meantime - doing so goes against the point of self-exclusion, and 1xBet is not responsible if you gamble elsewhere under different details.
Ending a self-exclusion
Self-exclusion is meant to run for the full period you selected. Ending it early is only granted in exceptional cases, and the final decision always rests with 1xBet - it is not something you can simply switch off from your side once it is active.
