Verification

Verification confirms that your 1xBet account really belongs to you. This page walks through the practical steps, the documents you will need, and how long each stage usually takes. For the reasons behind verification and 1xBet’s KYC policy, see our KYC page.

How verification works, step by step

  1. Open your 1xBet profile and go to the Verification (or Settings) section.
  2. Check whether the app is asking for a specific document type - this varies by account.
  3. Take a clear photo or scan of the requested document.
  4. Upload it through the app or website - avoid emailing documents unless support asks you to.
  5. If more documents are requested, send them the same way.
  6. Wait for review - you will be notified once it is approved.

Documents you may be asked for

Type Examples
Identity Passport, MyKad (Malaysian IC) or driving licence - must be valid and show your full name, photo and date of birth.
Address A recent bank statement or utility bill, dated within the last 3 months, showing your name and address.
Payment method A photo of your bank card (middle digits and CVV covered) or a screenshot of your e-wallet account (Touch ‘n Go eWallet, DuitNow) showing your name.
Selfie with ID A photo of you holding the same ID document, with your face clearly visible.

Your name must match across every document and your account profile - mismatches are one of the most common reasons verification gets delayed.

How long it takes

Stage Typical time
Document review A few hours to 2 business days
Payment method verification Up to 3 business days
Video call verification (if requested) 1 to 3 business days to schedule and review
Security / AML review No fixed timeline, depends on the case

Common mistakes that cause delays

  • Blurry or dark photos - retake in good lighting.
  • Cropped documents - make sure all four corners are visible.
  • Name on the document doesn’t match your account or payment method.
  • Expired ID, or an address document older than 3 months.
  • Uploading the wrong file type - stick to JPG, PNG or PDF.

While you wait

You can usually keep browsing and using the app during review, but withdrawals typically stay on hold until verification is approved. If a submission is rejected, you will be told why - fix that specific issue and resubmit rather than starting over from scratch.
